‘Enough is enough’ – Councillor hits out at wanton vandalism in Castlefin

A DONEGAL County Councillor has hit out at the vandalism of shrubbery in Castlefin.

Locals woke this morning to find plants and bushes pulled from their roots and tossed all over the streets of the east Donegal village.

A similar incident took place a few weeks ago.

“Enough is enough,” Councillor Gary Doherty said.

“This is really disheartening for the hard working people who are doing their best to keep the town looking well.

“We have achieved a lot over the last few years in Castlefin so this really feels like a slap in the face when it happens.

“I would appeal to whoever is doing this to please stop and think of your actions. Wanton vandalism achieves nothing and only causes upset.”
