Mica campaigners are making their presence felt on the road to Dublin this morning.
Today’s demonstrations began with a go-slow on the M50.
Cars and vans displaying 100% Redress campaign signs made their way into the city centre early this morning.
Long tailbacks were reported on the motorway. The demonstration has since ended.
Other campaigners making their way to the capital have experienced delays due to roadworks in Monaghan.
Thousands of people will take to the streets for a major protest at 12noon.
Michael Doherty of the Mica Action Group told Newstalk there is going to be a level of inconvenience today: “Our voices need to be heard, we’ve been 10 years here on a campaign to try and address our houses that our falling apart, and it’s difficult to get people to listen.”
