Five projects in Donegal have been shortlisted for the upcoming All Ireland Community & Council Awards.

Now in its 15th year, the 2021 All Ireland Community and Council Awards presented by IPB Insurance, recognise and celebrate community and councils working together.

They provide a great opportunity to highlight and celebrate the work done within our communities, to reward our unsung heroes and recognise the phenomenal contribution they’ve made to our lives.

CHEF AID Letterkenny is a finalist in the Community-Based Initiative and the Community Volunteer of the Year categories.

Project Cineál initiative by Spraoi agus Sport is up for two awards – Community-Based Initiative and Best Business Working with the Community. The Spraoi agus Sport Alternative Respite Programme was also shortlisted for Disability Access & Inclusion.

The Keep Discovering Donegal campaign is in the running for the Best Tourism Initiative award.

Love Donegal Day 2021 is a finalist for the ‘Attracting Inward Investment’ accolade.

The winners will be revealed at a Gala Event on Saturday, 27th November 2021 at Crowne Plaza, Santry, Dublin.
