Kilcar residents are preparing to vote for their new Parish Council in an election this Friday, 15th October.
Polling stations are located at Áislann Chill Chartha, Carrick Day Care Centre and Meenaneary Community Centre. The polling stations will be open from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm. All residents of the Parish of Kilcar aged 16 years and over may vote.

This year’s election takes place by proportional representation (voting 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. in order of your choice), the same process used in General, Local and Presidential elections. Names on the ballot paper will appear in alphabetic order, read through the list carefully and vote for the candidates in order of your choice.
