With restrictions lifted, Finn Harps manager Ollie Horgan has called on the Harps fans to ‘come out in their droves’ on Saturday for the North-West Derby with Sligo Rovers.
As capacity crowds are now allowed again following yesterday’s announcement, Ollie wants the crowd to act as a 12th man for his side.
“We need them, we’re in a battle. They’ve been brilliant since restrictions have lifted.
“We need them to come out in their droves on Saturday and be patient because there’ll be twist and turns in it and we need them as we’ve seen in the last couple of weeks.”
Harps had been on a good run of form until it was halted by Waterford in Friday’s 4-1 loss at the RSC but Ollie is looking for his side to bounce back quickly. Horgan said: “It’s one poor performance over a fair period of time.
“We didn’t play well enough to get anything out of Waterford on Friday but we need to put it behind us and try and kick on.”
Horgan is hoping to have 2 to 3 players back for Saturday’s clash with Sligo, who currently sit in 3rd place in the Premier Division. Kick-off on Saturday is at 7:30pm
