Covid-19 death toll rises above 200 in Donegal

The number of Covid-19 deaths in Donegal has surpassed 200, new figures show.

As of Tuesday, 202 people with Covid-19 have passed away in Donegal.

Five Covid-19 deaths were recorded in Donegal in the past month, the HPSC reports.

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in Ireland has reached 5,436. The median age of those who died is 83, and the age range is 17-105.

A total of 2,185 deaths have been linked to nursing home outbreaks, and 825 are linked to outbreaks in hospitals.
