Donegal will be hit by high winds this Halloween night, as a new warning is issued by Met Eireann.
Trick-or-treators will need to dress for wet and windy conditions if out and about this evening.
A status yellow warning is in place for many parts of Ireland tonight.
The west and north west is set to experience the worst of the stormy conditions.
From 6pm this evening, forecasters warn: “Northwest winds will reach mean speeds of up 65km/hr with gusts of up to 90-110km/hr and higher gusts along coasts and exposed hills.”
The northwest will also face scattered heavy showers, turning to longer spells of rain later in the evening.
The alert for Donegal is in place until 6am on Monday morning.
