A man has appeared in court charged with sexual assault of a woman in Clonmany.
The man pleaded guilty to two counts of assault – one case in which he is alleged to have the woman and another when he touched her breast.
Letterkenny Circuit Court was told the incidents happened between July 1st and 31st, 1991 in Clonmany.
Both a probation and psychiatric report was ordered in the case.
Judge John Aylmer adjourned the case for sentence until the next sessions of the circuit court.
The sentencing will be heard in camera meaning members of the public cannot attend the court.
