‘Bundoran Bulbs’ to remember loved ones this Christmas

A thoughtful project is underway to make Bundoran’s Christmas tree shine bright this year in memory of loved ones.

A initiative was set up by the Bundoran Christmas Lights committee with a touching message. Members of the public are invited to sponsor a bulb on the Christmas tree at the Tourist Office in memory of those who have passed away. The lights will then brighten up the town over the holidays.

The names of all of those to be remembered will be displayed at the tourist office and also online at www.discoverbundoran.com

Donations can be made at the following locations:

  • Goodbuys (open daily)
  • Bundoran Community Centre (open 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday)
  • American House (open daily)
  • Bundoran Tourist Office (open Thursday to Monday)
  • Olga Gilliland

Please leave €5 in an envelope with the name of the person to be remembered into any of the locations above. You may sponsor as many bulbs as you wish.

For anyone who may wish to donate online, the committee has set up the following GoFundMe page: https://www.gofundme.com/f/bundoran-christmas-lights-2021

The campaign builds on the success of the Bundoran Remembers 2020 project, which can be viewed at: discoverbundoran.com
