Harps know a win will keep them safe ahead of Waterford, who are drawing 0-0 with St. Patrick’s Athletic.
Seymore opened the scoring on 28 minutes when a well worked short corner was played to Barry McNamee on the edge of the box. McNamee’s shot was deflected but it fell to Seymore who headed it in, despite shouts for offside from the away side.
Connolly doubled Harps lead 5 minutes later when a long throw-in fell to him on the edge of the box and his left footed strike rocketed into the top corner.
