Work-from-home advice comes into effect in Ireland again from today.
The measures were part of the updated restrictions announced on Tuesday to curb the fourth wave of Covid-19.
A phased return to work had begun in recent months, but it has now been reversed, with people being told to work from home “unless necessary to attend in person”. Employers have been asked to support the move.
NPHET also recommended that employers and employees are informed of protective measures in the Work Safely Protocol.
There will be no return to remote learning for schools and third-level institutions at this point.
