Finn Harps striker Adam Foley has announced on Twitter that he is leaving the club.
Foley joined midway through last season and scored the vital goal in the last game of the season against Waterford as Harps avoided the relegation play-off.
The striker started the 2021 season on flying form as he scored the winner on the opening day against Bohemians, before a brace at Oriel Park a week later as Harps won 2-1.
A late winner in the North West Derby at the Ryan McBride Brandywell cemented his status as a hero among Harps fans.
Foley tweeted: “Huge thanks to everyone at Finn Harps for the last year & a half.
“Loved every minute of being here with some great people.
“We had some unbelievable moments together that I won’t forget & I wish the club all the best.”
