The Teach Ruairí Tractor Run Committee presented Isobel Rodgers from the Donegal Hospice with a cheque for a huge €15,030 last night.

The tractor run/charity weekend took place on Sunday 24th October, at Teach Ruairí, Baltony, Gortahork, with a total of 83 tractors taking part.

L-R: Sean McCullagh, Michael Armstrong, Sandra O Donnell, Antoin Mulhern, Isobel Rodgers (Donegal Hospice), Cathal Gallagher, Seamus Sweeney, John O Donnell. Non pictured committee members: Donal Gallagher and Ciaran Gallagher.

The drive was also supported by a charity auction and a raffle with items donated by local farmers and businesses. A great weekend was had by all with music from John Cannon and DJ Dave.

This is the second event organised by the teach Ruairí committee in aid of the Donegal hospice. In October of 2019, they held a fundraiser weekend raising a grand total of €20,250 for the hospice.

The Teach Ruairí committee would like to thank all who sponsored prizes and supported the cause in any way. It couldn’t have been done without all the help and support.
