Today will be another cold day with highest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees Celsius, according to Met Éireann.
It will start with grey and damp in the morning with scattered outbreaks of rain, and possible sleet in the early morning.
However, it will brighten up by afternoon with sunny spells developing.
Tonight will be mainly dry at first with clear spells before becoming cloudy overnight with patchy light rain developing in the west, spreading eastwards later. Lowest temperatures of -2 to +1 degrees Celsius. Some frost and ice too.
