Gardai have launched an investigation after the discovery of a man’s body in Termon.
The man, who was understood to be in his 90s, was found at the house at Barnes late last night.
It is understood the man lived alone.
A Garda forensic team have been at the scene of the discovery from early morning.
There are no further details at this stage.
The coroner Dr Denis McCauley has been notified of the death.
A Garda spokesperson told Donegal Daily “Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances of the discovery of a body of a man in his 90s in the Termon area of County Donegal on Sunday, 28th November, 2021.
“The local coroner has been notified and a post-mortem will be conducted at a later date which will determine the course of the Garda investigation.”
