ANOTHER 4,607 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed by Irish health officials today.
The Department of Health says that there are now 579 Covid-19 patients in hospitals – up from 566 yesterday.
Of those, 115 people are receiving treatment in intensive care settings – down 2 from yesterday’s figures.
There were 14 Covid-19 patients recorded at Letterkenny University Hospital last night – down from 15 the previous day. As of 8pm last night, there are three confirmed Covid-19 patients in ICU at the hospital.
Donegal currently has Ireland’s 11th highest 7-day incidence rate of Covid-19. As of 25th November, the 7-day incidence rate is 646.4 per 100,000. 1,029 new cases of the virus were detected in Donegal in the past week.
