ANOTHER 3,793 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed by Irish health officials today.
NPHET has announced a total of 5,707 deaths related to COVID-19 in Ireland. This includes 55 deaths newly notified in the past week (since last Wednesday).
The Department of Health says that there are now 578 Covid-19 patients in hospitals.
Of those, 117 people are receiving treatment in intensive care settings – down 2 from yesterday’s figures.
There were 14 Covid-19 patients recorded at Letterkenny University Hospital last night. As of 8pm last night, there are three confirmed Covid-19 patients in ICU at the hospital.
