Donegal recorded 1,740 new cases of Covid-19 in the past 14 days, new figures show.
As of Tuesday, the 14-day incidence rate in the county is 1,094.9 per 100,000, which was below the national average of 1320.3 per 100,000.
On a local level, incidence rates are up in four of Donegal’s seven local electoral areas (LEAs).
In the past fortnight, case numbers have increased in Letterkenny, Lifford-Stranorlar, North and South Inishowen (Buncrana and Carndonagh). North Inishowen was the only area with an incidence rate above the national average this fortnight.
