Heartless thieves have stolen the donation box from the Whoriskey’s Christmas Lights Fundraising campiagn in Kerrykeel.

To date the selfless couple have raised thousands of euro for various charities.
This year’s charity is BUMBLEance, the Children’s National Ambulance Service.
But last night thieves stole the donation box from outside of the couple’s home at around 9pm.
It is understood that the box contained up to €600.
Mary and Michael have appealed for anybody who may have witnessed the thieves to come forward.
They said “We are sad to report that around 9pm this evening our donation box was stolen from the gate after a very busy evening.
“If anyone has any information that may help to locate it and it’s contents we would ask you to contact the Gardai.
“This is extremely disheartening after months of preparation and hard work and is a massive blow to both ourselves and our charity partner BUMBLEance.”
