Charitable Chiropractor appeals for toys instead of payment

Chiropractor Anthony Lavin of Freedom Spinal Health Letterkenny and Buncrana is back with his annual Christmas toy appeal.

Each year, for one dedicated day before Christmas, the team accepts toys for instead of payment for services to help local children in need.

The event has collected a huge number of toys for worthwhile organisations over the past five years. This year is no different, and all donations will be given to St Vincent de Paul and Donegal Domestic Violence, helping families over the festive period.

All clients attending a session this Friday December 17th are asked to bring a new boxed toy in lieu of payment.

Non-clients are welcome to make donations of a new toy and they can be dropped off at either the Letterkenny or Buncrana clinics. There are two donation points- the main office is Unit 5 Glenview Business Park, Carnamuggagh, Letterkenny and you can also leave donations at the Buncrana office in O’Flaherty’s Fitness and Performance in Lisfannon Industrial Park, Ludden, Buncrana.

Anthony Lavin, Chiropractor and Practice Owner, said: “As the community supports me all year round by choosing us to be their chiropractor I feel it’s great to be in a position to give something back.”
