Two enterprising Donegal teens have raised an incredible €1,500 for the Donegal Hospice.

Caitlin Molloy, aged 13 and friend Alicia Atherton, aged 11, set up a gift business called Sunflower Creations earlier this year.

And they have been working hard ever since, making beautiful gifts, hampers, and personalised pieces.

Their aim is to raise much-needed funds for Donegal Hospice, and this week they are proud to announce a total of €1,500 raised so far.

Alicia and Caitlin have said a big thank you to everyone involved in Sunflower Creations:

“We would like to express our thanks and gratitude to everyone who has made this possible by buying gifts, raffle tickets and making donations throughout the year.

“We would also like to thank Bob Parkington, Graham Brown, Margo Molloy and Fionna Atherton for all their time and help over the last year.

“Lastly a huge thank you goes out to our returning customers (you know who you are) your support has been overwhelming this last 12 months.”
