Someone in the Lifford area is set to have a cool Christmas after claiming almost half a million euro on the lotto.
The winner of last Saturday’s Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize of €458,075 has made contact with the National Lottery’s Dublin office.
The winning ticket was sold on Thursday, December 9, at Gallagher’s Newsagents on Butcher Street.
No name of the winning player has been released.
The remote claim process is underway and it is hoped the winner will be paid before Christmas in time for much deserved festive celebrations.
