Two people have been arrested and three vehicles seized in a crackdown along the Donegal border.
The operation at the Donegal-Derry border at Bridegend involved Gardaí, immigration officers, Department of Social Protection officers as well as the Revenue & Customs.
Gardaí said that a number of searches took place within the Buncrana District.
A number of offences were detected during the operation but Gardai did not specify what these were.
A spokesperson said: “Operations of this nature will continue to take place over the Christmas and new year period.”
