Job Vacancies: Magee is a fifth generation Irish family business with over 150 years of experience in designing, weaving and tailoring cloth and clothing in Donegal. The Company operates across manufacturing, wholesale, retail and e-commerce.
We have a number of vacancies at our Weaving Mill:-
Handweaver – Magee Weaving is keen to preserve this age-old tradition whilst bringing it into the present day with new designs, colour and texture. We are looking for someone with some knowledge of handweaving but who would be keen to learn this unique skill in more depth.
Fabric Finishing Operative – This role is based in the Finishing Plant where fabrics are finished to an exceptionally high standard before being despatched to the customer.
Both roles require a keen eye for colour, some understanding of quality fabrics and a great work ethic and would suit mechanically-minded individuals. Some experience in the textile/weaving industry would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
