If Santa was doing a practice run over Ireland last night, he would have been sure to see Letterkenny from his sleigh!
The town was lit up by a spectacular ‘Light Up Tour’ on Sunday evening in support of the Donegal Hospice.
Over 90 cars, 90 tractors and 20 lorries were decked with Christmas lights before they drove around the town centre and brought some much-needed Christmas cheer to all.
Families and car enthusiasts parked along the Port Road to enjoy the parade.
If you missed it, you can watch back on some excellent drone footage by Joe Langon here: https://www.facebook.com/joe.langan.77/posts/2062206990610613
The event was organised by Bernard Gallagher of CBM Signs, who issued a very big thank you for everyone for their efforts and donations.
He posted: “There is too many people to thank that helped organise everything on the day. It’s great to have so many supportive people. A great evening for all the family and that was the plan.
“A big thanks to the Garda who like us were taken by surprise by the crowds & gave brilliant assistance. We will continue to take donations during the week at the office and present the final fantastic donations to the hospice in the new year!!”
