The Paediatric Department of Letterkenny University Hospital welcomed a huge donation of toys this week – all thanks to the Clonmany Christmas Tractor Run.
More than €2,000 was raised on Sunday 12th December when the Clonmany community got together for a festive fundraiser. There was a great display of effort as tractors of all shapes and sizes were decked with lights to drive through the village.
Soon after the donations were counted, organisers headed straight to the toy shop to stock up on the top toys and activities for all the young patients in Letterkenny.
The toys were gratefully accepted by the amazing staff earlier this week.
Participants will be delighted to see their donations going to great use in the coming months.
