Covid 19: Further 9,006 cases reported today

The Department of Health has been notified of an additional 9,006 confirmed cases of Covid-19 today (Tuesday 28th December).

Latest figures from the HSE show that there are 521 patients with the virus in hospital – an increase of 60 on yesterday.

There are 92 people in ICU with Covid-19, which is up from 91 yesterday.
