Gardai have issued a warning after a driver was caught on cocaine while driving in the Fahan area yesterday.
Members of the Buncrana Roads Policing Unit noticed the motorist driving in a dangerous manner and pulled him in.
He failed an oral fluid preliminary drugs test after testing positive for cocaine.
Gardai say the driver was arrested and will appear at a future sitting of the local court in the New Year.
Gardai have pleaded with people not to driver while under the influence of drink or drugs.
