A large new camping park may soon be in the pipeline for holidaymakers in Donegal.
Planning permission is being sought to build 12 new glamping pods, 32 camperan pitches and camping grounds at Ballykeeran – just outside Kilmacrennan village and 7km from Letterkenny.
An application for the development was lodged to Donegal County Council by the Kilmacrennan Community Development Group.
They are also seeking to build two tennis courts and a building that would accommodate toilets, showers and laundry facilities.
The planning application is currently at the pre-validation stage.
