The Letterkenny Institute of Technology is to defer its Semester One Exams because of Covid.

The exams were due to take place between January 6th and 21st.

However, following public health guidance, and in light of the significant increase in Covid-19 cases nationally this will not happen.

Instead, the LYIT has decided to defer all scheduled in-person exams under later in the academic year.

Classes will recommence as scheduled on Monday, 24th January.

The LYIT said it encourages all staff and students to avail of Covid vaccinations and boosters when they become available.
