Donegal County Council gritters were dispatched early this morning as early snow affected parts of the county.
Scattered showers of light hail and snow were reported in Letterkenny, Donegal Town and Ballybofey.
Conditions are set to turn colder this week, with lows of -2C forecast tonight and temperatures staying cold during the day.
