Gardaí are investigating the theft of power tools from a private property in Burnfoot.

The burglary took place before Christmas, between 4pm on Tuesday 21st December and 1pm Wednesday 22nd December.

Three chainsaws and a cordless drill were taken from a garden shed in a rural area, close to the Halfway House.

Gardaí are appealing to the public to be wary of anyone selling second hand tools in suspicious circumstances.

If you have any information which may assist with this investigation, please contact Buncrana garda station on (074) 932 0540.
