Gardaí have made a further appeal for information following a fatal crash in which a young Donegal man lost his life last week.
Lifford man Patrick (Paddy) Dooher, aged 28, died in a two-vehicle crash on the R236 at 9.15pm Thursday 30th December 2021.
A female passenger also sustained serious, non-life threatening injuries.
Gardaí have today reissued a call for witnesses or anyone with dashcam/CCTV footage to come forward and assist with investigations.
The collision involved a burgundy Vauxhall Corsa travelling from St. Johnston towards Carrigans, and a Peugeot 207 travelling from the Carrigans direction.
Garda Niall Maguire issued ths community appeal: “We are directly appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward, or anyone that witnessed either car being driven immediately before the collision occurred. Some people may have had dashcams or CCTV on their premises. As soon as the first responding guards arrived at the scene there was quite a number of people at the scene. If anyone hasn’t spoken to the guards who were at the scene, a phone call would be great.”
