A burst water mains on the Back Road in Letterkenny and surrounding areas will leave people without water for most of the day.

Irish Water say a traffic management plan has been put in place to deal with delays.

Work is expected to take place between 10am and 4pm today.

Irish Water says it may take between two and three hours for supplies to come back when the repairs are completed.
