Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair has appointed a new school principal.
Seoirse Ó Dochartaigh was congratulated by the Board of Management of the Community School last night.
He takes over from current pirnicpal Seamus Ó Briain.
A native of Ardara, Mr Ó Dochartaigh, will take up his new role after St Patrick’s Day.
A spokesperson for the Board of Management said “We all sincerely congratulate George as he tackles his new responsibilities and challenges ahead with energy and enthusiasm.
“We wish him every success and goodbye to his new role.”
