Motorists have been warned that the road between Carrick and Meenaneary will close on Monday and Tuesday next.
Donegal County Council plan to carry out resurfacing works in the area.
Local diversion will be in place with all local traffic being diverted via Glencolmcille.
All traffic travelling to or from Ardara should divert via Killybegs
The road, the L-1125, will remain closed from 9am to 5pm each day.
