Recruitment – ‘There’s More To Life Than Work’

written by Staff Writer January 22, 2022

After taking a short break, the Silver Tassie Hotel & Seascape Spa are getting ready to open their doors to the public again on February 3rd.

Hotel owner Ciaran Blaney has some very exciting, positive changes planned within the business for 2022.

With all that’s gone on since the start of the pandemic, and after a few weeks’ rest in January, Ciaran has had time to sit back (play golf!) and consider things going forward. In his own words “there’s more to life than work”.

Ciaran Blaney of the Silver Tassie Hotel.

He feels that his loyal team within the hotel, as well as he and his family, deserve and need a better work/life balance.

For this reason, there is a big change in ethos happening in the business and a huge recruitment drive is taking place.

The main ambition is to recruit as many new staff members as possible, in all departments, and to be in a position to offer current and new employees more flexible hours and much needed family time.

As well as an enjoyable work environment, he plans to offer attractive, competitive salaries and staff benefits.

HR Manager at The Silver Tassie Hotel Linda had this to say: “With the impending easing of restrictions and a very positive outlook for the year ahead, we are delighted to be in a position to hold this recruitment drive. We hope to recruit for both Full Time & Part Time positions in all departments within the business. We’re actively building a diverse team and welcome applications from everyone including people of different ages. So whether you are retired and looking for part-time work, starting a new career or simply looking for a change of scenery, we’ve got a job for you.”

Some job opportunity examples include:

  • Spa Therapist
  • Sous Chef
  • Senior Chef
  • Commis Chef
  • Kitchen Porter
  • Assistant Manager
  • Duty Manager
  • Food & Beverage Supervisor
  • Bar & Waiting Staff

The award-winning Silver Tassie Hotel & Spa hope that you, or someone you know, would like to apply to join their already successful team.

CV’s and any enquiries you might have are now being taken by email on: hr@silvertassiehotel.ie
