Five US-based Donegal men have raised almost €9,000 for their local RNLI branch.

Clonmany men raise funds for Lough Swilly RNLI in Boston.

The Clonmany lads, all living in Boston, came together in 2021 to raise money for four charities based in their native Inishowen.

Lough Swilly RNLI was chosen as one of the charities and were delighted to recently receive $10,000 from two events they organised during the year.

“We are so grateful to receive support from so far away and we wish all our native Inishowen friends well for 2022. Thanks a million lads,” a spokesperson for the organisation said.
