Two young men were rushed to hospital following a crash at a notorious Letterkenny junction last night.

Gardaí attended a three-car collision that occurred at Killylastin after 9pm.

“Two men, one aged in his late teens and the other in his 20s, were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to be treated for their injuries,” a garda spokesperson said.

Diversions were put in place after the collision at the Killyclug-Killylastin crossroads.

There have been numerous calls for safety measures to be carried out at the junction in recent years.
