Exciting new play opportunities will be available in Rossnowlagh soon as construction works get underway on the new community playground.
The entire development at Rossnowlagh Lower will include a playground with a secure soft area, sheltered seating area with picnic tables, outdoor showers and an area for traders to park.
The project was out for public consultation in 2020, with the contract being awarded to Hawthorn Heights Ltd in 2021.
A public notice has appeared at the site adjacent to the public car park this week to advise people that construction will be ongoing for 8-12 weeks.
The area around the works will be closed with traffic/pedestrian control measures in place at various times.
