Dylan Browne McMonagle won the 18:00 race at Dundalk on 11/8 favourite Hadman.
The Letterkenny man won for trainer Joseph O’Brien
It was third time lucky for Dylan as he was on three favourites today, with Here And Now (13/8F) finishing second, and House Of Kings (11/2F) finishing a disappointing 11th.
He followed these up with a 3rd on Super Over (13/2) before getting off the mark on the 3-year-old.
It’s the third win for the duo having won twice last summer.
It’s a first win of the year for the young jockey, who will be hoping to kick on from his success in 2021, when he won the Emerging Talent Award and the Apprentice Jockey Championship crown for 2021.
