Gardaí in Letterkenny are investigating a criminal damage incident at Long Lane last Sunday evening.
A home in the Ard an Rí estate was targeted when a rock was thrown through a sitting room window. The residents were frightened by a loud bang before they discovered the damage.
“Somebody could have been badly injured, and this happens frequently, unfortunately,” said spokesperson Garda Niall Maguire.
Anybody who was in the area between 6.45pm and 7.30pm and noticed anything suspicious is asked to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 0749167100.
