The Diocese of Raphoe has announced that the annual pilgrimage to Lourdes in 2022 will not go ahead due to Covid-19.

Pilgrimage Director Fr. Stephen Gorman said the regretful decision was made due to the continued uncertainties of the pandemic.

In a notice to pilgrims and staff, Fr Gorman said is hoped that the Diocesan Pilgrimage will return to Lourdes in May 2023. An  AGM will be held for staff in October this year.

“We ask Our Lady of Lourdes and St Bernadette to Intercede for us all at this time,” prayed Fr Gorman.
