The national forecaster says outbreaks of rain and drizzle will extend across much of the province, and continue for much of the day.
Rather windy too, in fresh to strong west to southwest winds with gales on western and northern coasts.
Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees, best values in the east.
Blustery outbreaks of rain will continue overnight with some heavy bursts and possible spot flooding.
Lowest temperatures of 2 to 4 degrees, all in fresh and gusty westerly winds.
