Sunday July 31st has been announced as the date for this year’s Glencolmcille Agricultural Show.

The committee is confident that the show will be bigger and better than ever.

Micheal O’ Gara, Show Chairman, said: “I think in the last couple of years people have had a lot more time on their hands, and gone back to growing vegetables etc also taken up new hobbies such as arts and crafts so we are anticipating huge entries for this year’s show.”

There will be numerous categories such as Cattle, Sheep, Horses, Poultry, Arts and Crafts, Home industries, Painting, Drawing, Photography and Childrens sections.

“We’ve had huge interest since we announced the date. We hope to make it a big day out with something for all the family,” Mr O’Gara added.

“There will be live music in the afternoon with local singer songwriter Eunan Mc Intyre, and in the evening with local band The Minertones.

Stallholders are welcome but must be pre-booked.

For all enquiries call or Whatsapp Declan O’Byrne, Show Secretary, on 0879781562.

See you all on July 31st!
