Twin Towns finally get to host Darkness into Light

The Twin Towns of Ballybofey and Stranorlar will finally get a chance to run their first ever Darkness Into Light (DIL).

The event will take place in the early hours of May 7, to coincide with other DIL events all over Ireland and across the world.

“We are so pleased that, this year, we will finally have the chance to run our first ever Darkness Into Light in Ballybofey – Stranorlar,” a spokesperson for the committee said.

“The last two years have been so difficult for everyone. The isolation, worry and stress that we have all felt has taken a real toll – especially on those affected by suicide and self-harm.

So, this year we need to come together again and walk side by side to say to those in crisis: You are not alone. There is hope. We are here for you.”

So please, save the date and help make this the biggest and brightest Darkness Into Light ever!

Registration opens before the end of February.

For information and updates, follow the Darkness into Light Ballybofey Stranorlar Facebook page.
