Motorists are being urged to be extra careful and slow down this morning due to icy roads.
Donegal County Council has called on people to “please drive with extra care” after early inspections.
All main routes in the county have been gritted from 6AM.
A status yellow snow/ice warning is in place for Donegal until 11am this morning.
Met Eireann warns of further wintry showers and icy conditions for the duration of the alert.
