Gardai and the emergency services are at the scene of a second accident on the main Letterkenny to Lifford Road this afternoon.

It follows an earlier accident at between Whitecross and Tullyrap.

The latest collision occurred at Mondooey Lower (approx. 4km on lifford side of Manor roundabout.)

A stop/go system is being set up at present. The road will be closed from approx. 6pm to 8.30pm in order to facilitate the removal of a lorry from the scene.

Diversions will be in place via Galdonagh cross for the time period in which the road is closed.
