Snow and wind has caused havoc across Donegal this morning.

If you have any updates please email them to info@donegaldaily.com and we will tell our readers.

The R250 road at Meenaroy is currently blocked with vehicles caught in the snow. Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible. DCC staff are on site trying to clear the road at present. An update will issue when the road is cleared.

The following Bus Eireann services have been cancelled this morning:
Route: 30, 5:30 Donegal to Dublin
Route: x30, 11:00 Dublin to Donegal
Route 64, 06:25 Donegal to Sligo
For more information see buseireann.ie/StormEunice

All John McGinley and Bus Feda coach services are operating as normal this morning.

The Back of Errigal Road R255/R251 is currently impassable due to snow. Drivers are asked to use the N56 road instead. Donegal County Council have gritters on the way.

Drivers urged to avoid the Mountain Road between Carndonagh and Buncrana where a number of cars were stuck earlier this morning. R244 between Drumfree (North pole) and Carndonagh is impassable at present due to additional snow fall. Drivers are advised to use the R238 via Clonmany.

More than 100 homes in the Moville area were without power overnight following high winds but they are expected to be reconnected shortly.

Drumkeen is passable thanks to heavy snow ploughing by Donegal County Council but people are asked to take care when driving as snow is falling heavily again.
