An organisation set up to alleviate ‘uniform poverty’ is currently facilitating the swapping of First Communion dresses.
The Twin Towns School Uniform Bank Facebook page was set up earlier this year.
It provides a platform for parents of schoolgoing children in the east of the county to get free uniforms and for others to donate unwanted ones.
Now, they are extending the service to include First Holy Communion dresses.
“I have been contacted by a lovely parent offering two First Holy Communion dresses in great condition,” the group posted on its Facebook page.
If you have any First Holy Communion items you wish to post onto the page to help someone else, you can do so here.
